The Black Cat

An issue of a fictional newsletter. The Black Cat would be a small monthly collection of Edgar Allan Poe's poems and short stories, with a focus on one of Poe's prevalent themes each month. The theme of this issue is "The Death of a Beautiful Woman."

I was reading Josef Müller-Brockmann's Grid Systems in Graphic Design at the time, and The Black Cat is informed by his work. Specifically, the publication adheres to a five-column layout and a strict baseline grid.
